Kogi State Polytechnic warmly welcomes you to Prof. Mattew Idowu Ajibero Library Complex, the intellectual hub of the institution. Kogi State Polytechnic Library, Lokoja was established in 1993 alongside the Polytechnic to support teaching, learning, and research. From a modest start, it has grown in size and services, expanding to include print and electronic collections and ICT-driven services and, and e-library facilities to meet modern academic and research demands.

Its mission is to provide timely, user-friendly resources that promote academic excellence. Since its establishment in 1993, the Library has remained committed to supporting teaching, learning and research by providing access to quality information resources and services. The Library is located at the main campus in Lokoja and situated close to School of Management Studies, with a branch at Itakpe campus.

Kogi State Polytechnic Library is organized into Administrative, Reader Services, Resource development, and E-Library Units and managed by dedicated professionals who ensure efficient service delivery. Its collections cover various disciplines offered by the Polytechnic, including Engineering, Applied sciences, Management and Environmental technology. With a growing collection of textbooks, journals, references and digital resources, the Polytechnic  strives to create a friendly and resourceful environment that inspires scholarship, innovation and lifelong learning.
